Workshop for Ranching with Wolves and Other Large Predators


    Non-Lethal Tools: Ranching with Wolves and Other Large Predator Workshop.

    On Wednesday, February 3, 2016, a free workshop for using non-lethal tools for ranching with wolves and other large predators will be presented at the Inter-Mountain Fairgrounds—44218 A St, McArthur.  The program starts at 8:00 a.m. and continues throughout the day until approximately 8:00 p.m. Morning refreshments, lunch and dinner will be provided.

    The invited speakers are from agencies, associations and producers from Idaho, Montana, Oregon and California.  They include USDA WS, USF WS, CDFW, NWRC, California & Oregon Cooperative Extension agencies. Also, members from California Wool Growers Association, California Farm Bureau, California Cattlemen, California Wolf Center and Defenders of Wildlife have been invited to speak. Producers from neighboring states are also invited to share their perspectives on current predator issues.
