Starting the week of July 9th Tai Chi for Health and Balance will be accepting new students to their existing programs in Tai Chi/Qigong
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is held on Mondays at 12:15 to 1:15 pm and Wednesdays at 10:30 to 11:30 am, This class has the seated modifications for those who need them. We will be reviewing the basic 6 exercises we have been working on before our summer break so new students can join us and returning students get a refresher before we move onto the advanced six movements. This set has many layers and 34 exercises to keep you learning and engaged. I also discuss balance, fall prevention and daily applications for use at home. Tai Chi Qigong Wednesdays at 9:15 to 10:15 am is a modified short Yang style set from Dr. Paul Lams Tai Chi for health programming and it also includes level one of Shibashi Tai Chi Qigong. We will review the movements after our summer break, for which we have been practicing in each class for our new students and as a refresher for our continuing students.
