On Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 7:47 p.m., deputies from the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, Patrol Division, responded to the JGW RV Park, located at 6612 Riverland Drive, Redding regarding a robbery which just occurred.
Westside Pizza delivery driver Colin Olof, 19 years old of Redding, reported while attempting to deliver an order of goods in the park he was flagged down by the suspect. As Olof was reaching for the receipt, the suspect brandished a black handgun at Olof. The suspect demanded Olof place the goods outside on the ground and to turn around and leave the park, which he did.
Immediately after leaving the park, Olof called 911 to report this incident. Deputies along with a CHP helicopter arrived on scene at 1956 hours. The park and surrounding areas were searched, with the assistance of CHP helicopter H16 and a Shasta County Sheriff’s Office K-9. After an extensive search, the suspect was not located. The goods, valued at $208, were also not located.
The suspect, in this case, is described as being a white male adult 20-30 years old, thin build, wearing a dark-colored baseball style hat, blue t-shirt, and tan shorts. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
