Following an investigation that spanned a couple of weeks and hours of surveillance, the Redding Police Neighborhood Police Unit concluded another drug dealing case with serving a Search Warrant at 885 Loma Street, Apartment #7, on February 8, 2017 at around 5:50 PM.

Officers of the NPU surveilled and watched Dylan Douglas Woody, 31 years, selling drugs across the street from Caldwell City Park, to numerous people over a couple of weeks in order to obtain a search warrant signed by a Shasta County Superior Court Judge. Woody and his girlfriend, Hailey Marie Daley-Woody, 25 years, were contacted at their residence when the search warrant was served by NPU.

This investigation located heroin and heroin smoking paraphernalia situated on a nightstand in the bedroom the two adults shared with their 5 year old son. In addition, 13.5 grams of heroin was found along with packaging and evidence of drug sales in the same room shared with the child as well as 6 plus pounds of marijuana for sales.

Dylan Woody was arrested for possession of heroin for sales a felony, possession of marijuana for sales a misdemeanor, maintaining a residence for drug sales a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia a misdemeanor, and felony child endangerment. Hailey Daley-Woody was arrested for maintaining a residence for drug sales a felony, and felony child endangerment. They were booked at Shasta County Jail while their 5 year old son was placed with Shasta County Child Family Services for his safety.
