RPD Neighborhood Police arrest four at West Street drug house near jail



Over the last few weeks, The Redding Police Neighborhood Police Unit investigated complaints of the occupants of 1800 West St. selling methamphetamine and heroin. NPU officers collected enough information to obtain a search warrant from a Shasta County Judge who authorized a search of the residence and its occupants.

1800 West Street is approximately 200 yards to the south of the Shasta County Jail and is one of the closest residences to the jail. Officers observed Mike Hartman 46 years of Redding leave the residence. During a traffic stop, Officers located methamphetamine and paraphernalia consistent with drug sales.

Officers descended on the residence and contacted the following individuals:  Karla Moore 57 years of Redding, Michelle Clary 58 years of Redding, Breanna Nutter 25 years of Redding, Christopher Ray 26 years of Redding and Corey Woldberg 45 years of Redding. A search of the residence yielded methamphetamine, heroin, packaging, scales and paraphernalia.

Woldberg was found hiding under a bed and arrested for a felony warrant, resisting arrest and possession of methamphetamine. Nutter was arrested for three warrants and possession of heroin. Moore was arrested for one warrant stemming from a previous NPU drug investigation. Hartman was identified as a drug dealer and arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. All four who were arrested were booked into the Shasta County Jail.
