The Redding Fashion Alliance, a non-profit organization located in the Redding Cultural District, has announced the first ever award recipients of the Kimberly Nicole Woods Boney Emerging Fashion Designer Fund. Elevia Ramirez and Katie Noll have been chosen to receive a $1000 cash award for collection development, ongoing mentorship, and 1 year of design studio access and no cost access to all workshops and classes offered by Redding Fashion Alliance.
Each designer’s completed collection will be presented at the 2019 Fashion Show Gala on September 7th, 2019. The proceeds from this fundraising event for the Redding Fashion Alliance 2020 Emerging Designer Fund and Irene Ascenas Youth Sewing Scholarship Fund.
