Oct 11

  • A resident in the 22400 block of Buckboard Trail in Palo Cedro called to report a phone scam.
  • A business employee called from the 21500 block of Dersch Rd to report grand theft on or about July 9. 2017 at the business reported the theft of property and damage by unknown subjects.
  • A call was received to report a large black bear in the area of Airport and Rancho Roads. Caller is available for contact to show where his dog has treed the bear. State it is in the wooded area near the intersection.
  • A resident in the 3470 block of Rancho Rd called to report bear in her front yard. Caller concerned for her dogs and livestock on the property which she has no way of securing. Bear is not behaving aggressively.

Oct 12

  • A call was received from the post office in the 31200 block of Hwy 44 in Shingletown to report postal boxes broken into during the night.
  • A call was received to report several concrete benches found on property in the Sonora Trail and Hwy 299 E in Bella Vista. Caller concerned that they are stolen.
  • A resident in the 14100 block of Holiday Way in Bella Vista called to state neighbors dogs just came onto his property and killed his sheep. Caller shot one dog and the other one got away. Unknown where it went.
  • A call was received from the 9300 block of Deschutes Rd in Palo Cedro to report how a friend gave him a ride in a gold Chevy Silverado, male brandished a black handgun at caller. Male let caller out of the vehicle in the Gilbert Drive area and continued west bound on Hwy 44 towards Redding. Caller got a ride and is standing by for personal contact at AM PM on Bechelli.

Oct 13

  • A resident in the 22400 block of Buckboard Trail in Palo Cedro called to report a phone scam.
  • An employee of a school in the 10600 block of Swede Creek Rd in Palo Cedro called to report solar panels taken from the school. Possibly occurred sometime on Wednesday.
  • A by-passer called to report a male with beard, dark gray hoodie, jeans urinating on fence near the Old Oregon Trail and Old 44 Drive area.
  • A call was received from the 20400 block of Old Alturas Rd to report a trailer was burglarized sometime last month.
  • A citizen called to report seeing a male looking into car windows in the parking lot in the 9300 block of Deschutes Rd in Palo Cedro. Caller is leaving area.

Oct 14

  • A resident in the 22100 block of Backbone Rd in Jones Valley called to report subject shooting in the area of the water towers at the end of Backbone Rd. Caller concerned due to the dry grass and the heavy winds.
  • A resident in the 20800 block of Old 44 Drive in Palo Cedro called to report unknown subject is making charges against her bank account. All her cards are accounted. Back has been notified, charges are over $500.
  • A call was received to report in a verbal fight with two subjects over his driving on a private road in the Patrick Lane and Old 44 Drive in Millville. Subjects followed caller and confronted him because he was speeding, but he states there is no speed limit. Caller states one subject threatened to shoot his tires, but no weapons were seen. Caller is in a blue Honda Accord.
  • A resident in the 7500 block of Creekside Mobile Circle in Shingletown called to state female threatened to assault the caller this evening.
  • A call was received to report she believes underage party occurring in the 12100 block of La Honda Lane in Bella Vista. Caller states possibly hears a fight between subjects at party. Concerned due to underage. Does not know residents at house. Knowns juveniles live there.
  • A call was received from a business in the 21900 block of Dersch Rd of second hand information of security mace a male in the parking lot that was under the influence. Unknown if medical needed.

Oct 15

  • A call was received to report seeing a female in a black hoodie, black backpack, carrying an orange five-gallon bucket walking slowly in the Old 44 Drive and Hwy 44 in Millville area looking at houses.
  • A resident in the 11900 block of Deschutes Rd in Bella Vista called to report an unknown male with a tall stocky build is standing in caller’s front yard.

Oct 16

  • CHP officer called to report steer with 6-foot horns is wandering around in the area of Woodhill Drive and Hwy 299 E in Montgomery Creek.
  • A business employee from the 5400 block of Deschutes Rd in Anderson called to report stolen gas card was used at the location and several other businesses in the county in Redding and Anderson areas. Gas card was in the vehicle when stolen from Colusa Airport. Caller states he was told to report to local agencies.
  • A call was received to asks for assistance of standby to a fired employee. Caller has to go to subject’s house in the 32300 block of Hwy 44 in Shingletown to pick up company van.
  • A call was received to report loud music playing from the 7700 block of Mallard Way in Millville. Ongoing issue, caller willing to sign noise complaint. David Alvarez was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Oct 17

  • A resident in the 30800 block of Tinkerbell Lane in Shingletown called to report a racoon entered house through dog door. Racoon is in caller’s bedroom.
  • A resident in the 11900 block of Deschutes Rd in Bella Vista called at 2:15 a.m. to report unknown subjects outside house with two flashlights seen and door handle can be heard rattling.

Oct 18

  • A business owner called from the 21900 block of Dersch Rd area to state ongoing issue with subjects stealing fuel and trespassing caller has an employee who will do doing the early morning shift and will call 911 if any activities.
