Nov. 3 (Friday), 5-8pm: AAUW Art Gala 2017, at Moseley Family Cellars, 4712 Mountain Lakes Blvd., Redding. Enjoy a night of meeting local artists and viewing their work, the soft rock and jazz sounds of “Off the Charts,” complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a no-host wine bar ($5/glass). More than 20 local artists’ original works, as well as prints and notecards, will be available for sale. Proceeds go to local scholarships and the AAUW Redding Branch American Fellowship Endowment. PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE, BEGINNING OCT. 6, FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING LOCAL OUTLETS: Holiday Market on Placer, Holiday Market on Hartnell, Enjoy the Store, Dandelion, Jose Antonio’s, Plaza Interiors furniture & Design, Palo Cedro Gift Gallery, & Wild Thyme Gifts & Garden. 47th AAUW HOME TOUR & ART SHOW (American Assoc. of University Women): Nov. 4 (Saturday), 10am-3:30pm: 47th AAUW Home Tour & Art Show 2017. Enjoy a tour of 4 incredible homes -- including the Historic Frisbie Mansion and a local Bed & Breakfast -- as well as a show of local artists’ work for sale – all in Redding. GET YOUR TICKET/GUIDES IN ADVANCE SO YOU CAN LEISURELY TOUR THROUGH THE HOMES AND ART SHOW. TICKET/GUIDES WILL BE AVAILABLE BEGINNING OCT. 6 AT THE FOLLOWING LOCAL OUTLETS: Holiday Market on Placer, Holiday Market on Hartnell, Enjoy the Store, Dandelion, Jose Antonio’s, Plaza Interiors Furniture & Design, Palo Cedro Gift Gallery, and Wild Thyme Gifts & Garden. Join us for the monthly All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast hosted by the Whitmore Community Center on the second Sunday of every month, from 8am - 11am. An all volunteer staff will be serving a buffet style country breakfast with all of your favorite fixin's. Just $3 for kids and $8 for adults for your choice of scrambled eggs, hasbrowns, bisquits & sausage gravy, bacon, sausage links, pancakes and fresh fruit. We'll also have freshly brewed coffee, fruit juices and water. Don't forget to grab a few raffle tickets for one of those delicious pies!

Note: the concert starts at 2:00 p.m. in the main room whilst jamming is usually going on in the side room at the Palo Cedro Community Hall.
